OUR MISSION IS TO SUPPORT RECREATION AND COMMUNITY PROGRAMS, PARKS, FACILITIES AND OPEN SPACES IN MONROVIA
To better serve our community, the former Monrovia Wilderness Preserve Foundation, Inc., a 501(c3) independent foundation established in 2000, was revised with an expanded mission in 2020. Our new mission is to support recreation and community programs, parks, facilities, and open spaces in Monrovia. To better reflect this new mission the Foundation also changed its name to Monrovia Parks, Wilderness, and Recreation Foundation (MPWR) and established a new board and roles.
